What is Frayed Collar?

The Frayed Collar is a weekly newsletter written by Kevin O’Neill. Frayed Collar started as a simple Instagram moodboard during the early days of the coronavirus pandemic, detailing my taste in menswear. The name itself comes from the character/patina that well-loved items of clothing develop as they age with you.

The original goal was to explore style in a more public medium, but it has since transformed into a greater exploration of life and growing and accepting adulthood as a late-20s American male. The Frayed Collar Newsletter offers a more in-depth format for writing on topics related to style and living intentionally and authentically.
